Jay Novak brings an extensive background in publishing, government service, investment banking, and corporate communications to Aethlon Capital. Prior to joining the firm, Jay was publisher and editor of Twin Cities Business, a position he held from 2001 through 2010. Before that, Jay served as senior vice president for Miller Johnson Steichen Kinnard Investment Securities, a Minnesota-based investment banking firm. Jay also served as commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development during the second term of Governor Arne Carlson.
In addition to his work at Aethlon, Jay is presently chairman of a software company, director of a wind-power company, a member of the board of directors of Hennepin Theatre Trust, and a trustee of Hamline University, St. Paul.
In 2010, he was inducted into the Minnesota Business Hall of Fame® and received an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® award for Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the Dakotas.
Jay has a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin and a M.A. in mass communications from the University of Minnesota.
